Hello and on behalf of the Tau Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon, I want to welcome you to our website! My name is Angeliek Devine and it is with great honor that I introduce myself as the 2020 president of the Tau chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon. I am thrilled to represent this wonderful organization at such a developmental time. With Rensselaer Summer Arch in full swing and COVID-19 ever present, we are facing new challenges as a chapter. Nonetheless, we face these challenges head on as a sisterhood; we will adapt, improvise, and overcome. We welcomed five incredibly intelligent and motivated new sisters into our fold last semester, held a beautiful semi-formal in the fall, and fund-raised over $300 for local First Robotics teams and Australian wild fire relief. Last semester we found innovative solutions to stay connected while transitioning to remote learning. Our sisters not only embraced these changes but also thrived with them. Despite weaning member numbers, involvement is booming with the introduction of committees to the house. I truly feel that we have a passionate bunch of active sisters who will engender change for the betterment of our organization. We are entering the Fall ’20 semester with 20 active sisters and wish our newly transitioned alumnae the best of luck on their post-collegiate endeavors. This year we will focus on growing our bonds of sisterhood and developing our members academically, professionally, and as leaders in the community.

In friendship, leadership, and professionalism,

Angeliek Devine
